BIOGRAPHY

Mohamed Mohamed is a 5th year Architectural Engineering student at Penn State University. Currently pursuing the integrated bachelor and master program with a focus in Mechanical Design, Mohamed is expected to graduate in May of 2017. 

Growing up in Cairo, Egypt, living in multiple countries and visiting tens of different cities, Mohamed's passion for Architectural Engineering has always been on the rise. Studying abroad in Rome, Italy was also another eye-opener to him, where he had the chance to thoroughly understand the history and fundementals of Architectural Engineering. In addition, Mohamed has always had an interest in sustainbility and energy saving. This is what drove him to pursure the Mechanical Design focus, where he can better understand the energy performance of buildings and come up with innovative ways to reduce the effects of HVAC systems on the environment. 

During his college career, Mohamed had the oppurtunity to get involved and grow as a person. Being the co-founder, Vice President and President of the Egyptian Student Association, Mohamed's leadership, organization and communication skills have immensley grown. In addition, Mohamed is an active member of SSAE and ASHRAE.
